Next Project Zero Roll Out Underway

The next roll out of Project Zero will be in the Serharti Woreda (district). This groundbreaking program continues to accelerate the eradication of obstetric fistula across the country through:

1. Going house-to-house to find women living with obstetric fistula.

2. Providing mentoring to midwives and nurses at local health centres to improve maternal healthcare services.

3. Training local health and community workers in identifying fistula and referring women for treatment.

4. Spreading awareness of fistula and its treatment by visiting major marketplaces, community and religious
gatherings and schools.

Learn more about Project Zero and our goal to find and treat every woman in Ethiopia living with obstetric fistula and while doing all in our power to prevent child birth injuries in the future.

Help us give hope to every woman.

Keep up to date with our work including the latest news from our programmes in Ethiopia, ways to get involved and how your support can make a difference.
